All About John Mark & Tina

We are Tina and John Mark Kauffman. We are of the Christian faith, and practice our faith in the Amish traditions. We have a farm in Clarkson, Kentucky where we have a herd of sheep, a large garden, and a couple of faithful English Shepherds named True Boy and Rusty. We are within walking distance to both our families, and have a large family between the two of us.

John Mark owns a trim craft business with a team of carpenters, and I (Tina) babysit. We are looking forward to me being a stay-at-home mom when our family is blessed through the miracle of adoption!

Why Adoption?

We are unfortunately unable to have children of our own. We have faced the heartbreaking loss of miscarriages, and desire to grow our family. We both have families with multiple siblings, and we can't imagine life without children. Adoption has blessed people we know, and we know God can bless our home this way.

Family & Home

Our home is on a farm with around 15 acres. We live in a wonderful rural community close to Nolin Lake. Our home is spacious,  with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and numerous additional rooms that provide opportunity for future family growth. Despite potential misconceptions, we have indoor plumbing, hot and cold water, and ample lighting. Our home is always kept tidy and warmly decorated to be comfortable for ourselves and visitors.  We have several children in the family and keep our home well-stocked with toys! We do travel by horse and buggy when we travel locally but we have drivers that take us on further trips. We are within walking distance of both our parents and enjoy close relationships with them that we know will benefit our future child(ren)! We live in Clarkson, in Grayson County, Kentucky.  Neighboring is Hart County, Kentucky. There is a strong Amish community surrounding us, and a great relationships with all of our surrounding neighbors!
