We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know our family. We are Patrick and Tashia. We pray that you feel loved and supported no matter where you are on your journey. We admire you so much for choosing life for this little one/ones and are humbled by your courage and strength. We adopted our son four years ago and are so excited to be adopting our second child. We are ready to share our love with another child and our son is thrilled about getting a sibling to love! We hope you will see that we are fun, loving, supportive, adventurous & encouraging. We promise to respect you, your needs and will love your baby/babies with every ounce of our being. We also promise to provide a loving, safe and happy home. We will give them all the opportunities to learn, grow and prosper as we guide them through life. We look forward to meeting and talking with you.
Love,
Patrick and Tashia
We aren't able to have children physically so we have sought out the adoption avenue as a way of having a family. We experienced the adoption process with our first child and are excited to expand our family again. We are ready to give more of our unconditional love for the second time though the miracle of adoption.
Our home is in a small neighborhood (about 10-15 homes), where each home has about 4-5 acres. There are a lot of great kids that are all around the same age. So there will be a lot of amazing kids for them to build friendships with. We do have a playground in our backyard. There are lots of trees and you can hear the birds chirping during the day and deer walking around at night. Our home has four bedrooms with more space in the basement. We also have a toy room, huge dining/living room and an amazing kitchen where we all cook together and have family gatherings. We usually host family game nights or celebrations at our house. All the cousins call our house the “fun house”! There are six of them and they are all under six years of age. We are close with our families. Tashia has two sisters; so we usually hang out a few times a month.
Tashia is the most caring person I know. She has a big generous heart and is always thinking of how she can help someone. She is caring, loving and very beautiful both on the inside and out. More than my wife in life, Tashia is my best friend whom I love so much. So thankful for her and how she continuously encourages me throughout all situations. She is an incredible mom always teaching, being creative, loving, and helping our son grow into an amazing young man. There is no doubt she will be an amazing mother again. She has so much love to share and is so excited about adding another little one/ones to our family.
Patrick is an incredible hard working man! He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He loves making a positive impact on others lives and has a huge heart as well! Patrick is handsome, loving, smart, strong and encouraging. Patrick is a kid at heart and always keeps the nieces and nephews on their toes. He is always the calm in the busyness of life. Patrick is an incredible dad who is always going on adventures, loving, and being an awesome role model for our son to mirror growing up. He is also so excited to share his love with the next bundle of joy placed in our lives.
We originally met in a training through our employer, but it wasn't until our co-workers recommended that Patrick meet the red-head (me) at the other location. And well that was the end of that. We knew there was something between us and we needed to build upon the qualities we found valuable. So after being friends for a year or so we officially became a couple in 2008. While dating we enjoyed lots of things we still continue to do such as camp, hold hands in the park, road trips, exploring new restaurants, exploring outdoors, cooking and building LEGOs together. After growing together, we joined in marriage on a perfect fall day. We love spending time with our families. Meals and games are common themes. We enjoy trips to Gatlinburg, the beach and all the little things in life. We realize that life's journeys have been a roller coaster at times, yet, together, we stand strong. We are excited about this miracle through adoption.
You are so very loved. You are capable of anything. When you work hard toward a goal you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Never give up, There's always a way. Life is a journey, enjoy the ride but always remember it will make you stronger.
Adoption is part of their life and journey. They will definitely know their family's history and we will always be open about their story. It is important they know who they are so they can continue to grow strong and become the best version of themselves.
